MaxQ is for people who love spaceflight — to track launches, share photos and sightings, and talk shop with a smart community. These guidelines keep it welcoming, credible, and fun. They apply everywhere you post: Qmunity, photos, jellyfish sightings, live chat, and applications.
Treat people the way you’d want to be treated. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or attacks on someone’s identity. Disagree about rockets all you like — keep it about the ideas, not the person.
Don’t knowingly spread misinformation. Space is exciting enough without hype or hoaxes — if you’re speculating, say so. Cite sources when you can.
No spam, scams, mass self-promotion, or attempts to game feeds, polls, reactions, or rankings. Post because you have something to share, not to farm attention.
Only upload photos and media you captured or have permission to share, and credit fellow photographers. Don’t post other people’s work as your own. Keep content spaceflight-related.
No sexually explicit content, gore, or anything illegal. This is a community lots of people — including younger fans — enjoy.
See something off? Use the Reportbutton on any post, photo, or sighting and our crew will review it. Don’t pile on or take moderation into your own hands.
Our crew may hide or remove content and warn, suspend, or ban accounts that break these rules — proportional to what happened, with serious or repeated violations handled fastest. We aim to be fair, but the call is ours.
