Welcome to MaxQ. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of maxq.app and its tools, feeds, and community features (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MaxQ, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under it.
Some features (posting, photos, sightings, applications) require a free account. Give accurate information, keep it current, and don’t impersonate others or share your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile; doing so removes your profile and content as described in our Privacy Policy.
When using MaxQ, you agree not to:
You keep ownership of the content you submit — your posts, photos, sightings, and comments. By submitting it, you grant MaxQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the Service, with credit to you where applicable. You’re responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it.
We may remove or hide content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously break the rules.
MaxQ’s software, design, and branding belong to MaxQ. The Service also surfaces third-party data — including launch schedules from Launch Library 2, orbital elements, weather data, imagery, and outputs from our AI, Q. That data belongs to its respective owners and is provided for informational purposes.
MaxQ is an enthusiast and informational tool. Launch times, weather calls, trajectories, hazard zones, and Q’s answers can be wrong, delayed, or incomplete, and must never be used for flight, navigation, safety-of-life, or any operational decision. Always rely on official sources.
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on MaxQ infringes your copyright, email us at admin@maxq.appwith: a description of the work, the URL of the infringing content, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized, and a statement (under penalty of perjury) that you’re the owner or authorized to act for them. We’ll review and remove infringing material promptly, and may remove content from repeat infringers.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaxQ and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
We may update these Terms as MaxQ evolves; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, do our best to give notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or end access to the Service, or any part of it, at any time.
