Acquiring signal…
Every satellite deployed in the last few days, and when each one crosses your sky — the next three days, or five for a Starlink train. This is the window where a fresh deployment is worth chasing: the objects are still clustered, often still tumbling, and bright enough to catch without equipment. Passes are computed from pre-catalogue element sets, so they are predictions, and the board says how far each one has been stretched.
Set your location
Every pass on this board is computed for one spot on the ground. Nothing here means anything until it knows where you are standing.
